Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

Following a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time that lasts through early December. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software over the years, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The standout feature is certainly a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Bundle Tiers

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.

Charitable Component

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief.
